History of Updates 2002

• 12-16-02 Added our favorite recipes from this year's Thanksgiving dinner (Imam Bayaldi and Garlic Lemon Shrimp) as well as a couple others (Country Chicken Soup and Bluecheese Broccoli Soup). Also split the Recipe list into Salty and Sweet.

• 10-11-02 The other day a checkout person at Trader Joes said, "May your evening be soft and squishy and full of brie." It wasn't to me but it was pretty amusing. I guess it's what they say when the only thing you buy from the entire store full of goodies is a piece of brie cheese. squish squish squish :-)

• 09-23-02 Hmmm. I went to a scifi/fantasy convention recently. It was WorldCon 2002 aka ConJose 2002. I took some pictures. It was a fun one day trip.

  I was reminded today that I hadn't posted an update regarding my picture "Hush". It is important to state that I have NO FACTS at this time to corroborate the horrible story regarding BABIES. There is a similar documented incident regarding adults. More info at the bottom of the page.

• 02-12-02 I fought our lemon tree this weekend and won. It surrendered a lot of lemons which I put in a bowl. Here are some digital camera photos of my spoils of war. The funny thing is, both sunspark and mer independently decided the lemons were photogenic and took pictures.

• 02-06-02 I feel like a month has gone by in the last 10 days. More revs of MadDash than you can shake a stick at, most of them PAL. Japanese version is now the priority and demo-japan is asked for but too tight. Last day for Dom and Trems. My hands have started hurting again - had to stop using left hand for a day or so. Etc. And today, in trying to free up disk space for new revs, I discover there's no company policy on keeping gold masters. ack. Luckily I found the one I wanted hiding in a forgotten corner.

• 01-21-02 Rah! Got the pawma.org info updated after way too long and got myself a domain name. Wheee! pair.com rocks and registering the domain with pairNIC was really easy. We'll see in a few years if it's still as easy. ;-) Of course, it would have been wiser to get the domain name before sending a lot of people email asking them to link back to my mit.edu site, but hey, better done poorly than not done at all... especially in this case when I ended up more than a year behind in email. :-) I'll leave the pointer pages up at mit.edu for a year at least.
• 01-16-02 Warning, complaints coming... Verisign/NetworkSolutions sucks. Their method for updating domain names (which I don't even have one of my own) sucks sucks sucks. I helped set up a domain for pawma.org way back when the web was new and Unix email was normal. Now their authentication method is failing to authorize my changes. I just want to change the records so I'm no longer a pawma.org contact. A maze of obtuse and ridiculously long emails keep getting mailed to me requesting that I respond "just so" and is geared towards people using GUI mailers. I respond as best as I can using a Unix mail system and the request keeps getting denied. suck suck suck.

  Eeek. I need to sleep.
