Notes: I'm pretty pleased with this one. Just a portrait of a pretty lady.
I started this one in 1999, based off a photo I took of a friend at a ballroom dance competition. The dress was a short dress (for latin dance?) I added floofiness in the form of a long skirt with those fluffy trailers that the ballroom people seem so enamored of.
Anyhow, the sketch languished for a couple years. Now that MadDash is out however, I'm back to doing more photoshop. I wanted to have some new pictures quickly and figured I should finish off some of the old sketches that have potential. I kind of like how the garden border came out. I tried a bunch of colors as well as a swooshing glowing wind but the peanut gallery likes the more 'normal' green garden frame as well as the plain light beams. ah well.
