If logged into MIT, go to emacs, M-X "mud"
The things needed to get the mit mud to work:
autoload 'mud "/mit/mer/Public/dirt/mud.el" "mud elisp" t)Plus the actual elisp file (attached 49k) You can connect to the mud from emacs without telnetting to MIT. (but I never worked it all out. I suspect it has to do with using the same .el file)
There's a mushclient which doesn't require the ability to telnet into MIT or even run Emacs. The downloads page is shareware for $20. http://www.gammon.com.au/muds.htm
