"Classic Pecan Pie"
From a bottle of Karo brand dark corn syrup
Preheat oven to 350 deg F. In large bowl stir first 5 ingredients until
well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake 50 to 55 minutes
or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
Cool. Makes 8 servings.
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup KARO(R) light or dark corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp margarine or butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups pecans
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen deep dish pie crust
* For frozen crust, preheat oven and cookie sheet. Pour filling into
frozen pie crust, bake on cookie sheet in lower third of oven.
