French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup
Makes about 8, 1 cup servings
- about 5 medium onions, sortof chopped
- 4 14.5 oz cans of chicken broth
- 2 cans beef broth
- Some yummy croutons (about 1/2 of 5 oz pkg Marie Calendars croutons)
- About 1/2 lb grated swiss cheese
1) Saute the onions until browned and they smell
yummy. Add some salt. This takes about 1/2 hour.
2) Prestage the croutons in a largish bowl, top
with the cheese
3) Add the broth to the onions, boil
4) Pour onion soup on top of the croutons and
cheese
Serve immediately
