When life gives you lemons, make lemon bars.

Whoever would've thought a lemon tree would have thorns?  These are huge and sturdy 2-3" thorns too.  The tree was becoming too friendly with the power lines.  Mer did battle with the tree using pruning implements.  The tree lost.  It smells really good.  When the branches come down, so do their lemons.  Big bowls of lemons look nice in the yellow low-light.  Our lemons looks a lot like oranges, but they're not.
